Carboor Harvest Hazelnut Flour is a high protein gluten free alternative to plain (all purpose) flour.
It contains 25.5% protein and is produced as a co-product of pressing hazelnut oil.
A beautifully textured and earthy coloured flour that is naturally free from gluten.
Hazelnut flour is best used as a ‘co’ flour product to add flavour, colour or nutritional value.
If using in baking you will need to adjust your recipes leavening agent to compensate for the heaviness of hazelnut flour.
Store in a cool, dark palce and best to refrigerate once open.
