Drunken Sailor Canning Co. was created over a couple of bottles of red wine with mates. Founder Justin Arnoux wanted to bring the philosophy of flavour and fun to the table. Drunken Sailor is about good food enjoyed with good mates having a good time.
The early days of Drunken Sailor were based out of a Sydney sharehouse having to time cooks between 2 minute noodles, baked beans on toast and vodka shots. Justin soon had a small loyal following that couldn’t get enough of the tasty condiments.
Eventually Justin made the move to convert an old butcher shop in Dulwich Hill into his first production facility. As the product range increased so did the demand of crowd favourites such as smokey tomato relish, jalapeno & tequila relish, pineapple coconut & rum jam and peach rosemary & brandy jam.
Now based out in Glendenning in Sydney’s West, Drunken Sailor Canning Co. is HACCP accredited and supplies retailers, cafes and hotels Australia wide with 40g, 260g and 2.4kg varieties. Justin is still cooking every small batch daily to ensure each cook is full of flavour and fun.
