Over 60% of dried fruit and nuts are essential in our recipe, glace ginger and cherries, mixed peel, dates, currants, sultanas, raisins, apricots, nuts, and our special spice mix.

Asterisk Kitchen was founded in October 2012 by Kate and Younes Khazour. Younes is a French born and raised chef/patisserie who has worked for several hatted restaurants. The pair started from very humble beginnings in a home-kitchen testing sweet cakes for the local market along the banks of Melbourne’s Yarra River.
Today they now have a kitchen in Ringwood where Director and Chef/Patisserie Younes continues to research and develop products that aim to reflect French elegance, fine dining and a deep philosophy for good food. Asterisk Kitchen believe in good manufacturing procedures, involving great quality raw ingredients from start to finish.
